Planning a tropical wedding? If you are thinking of getting married or renewing your wedding vows here in the islands, we'd like to share a number of suggestions with you! The warm sun, soothing whispers from the ocean and balmy breezes of the Caribbean create the perfect atmosphere for romance! Whether you are a longtime repeat visitor, or this is your first time in the islands, these important first steps can lead to carefree joy in celebrating this special occasion with your loved ones.
Call us first. We want to offer as much guidance as possible from the beginning to help things run smoothly. Which villas are closest to each other for overflow? Is there a minimum stay for a marriage license? Is your villa able to accommodate a wedding? What is the best floor plan for your particular party? Are there dining, nightlife or shopping nearby? Will you need baby gear? The answers to these and other questions can point you in the right direction; we are here to assist you in any way possible. We live here, and can answer your queries with confidence.
Do it by the book. Planning a destination wedding can be challenging, but a little preparation can help you to decide exactly what you want to do, even if you opt to retain the services of a wedding planner. We think families are romantic. Our owners have families, and they know that nothing is more magical than a toddler's woozy cuddle after a day at the beach, or sharing laughter around the pool while the grill sizzles with the night's supper. The villas in our portfolio at which weddings and other gatherings are permitted, can accommodate larger groups, and children are welcome.
Poolside or beachside? Your villa may not be on the beach, but you can decide to have your wedding on a white sand beach, then retire to your villa to enjoy further festivities in private luxury! And, if inclement weather beckons, your villa is the ultimate "plan B"!
More really is merrier! Selected villas in our rental program can accommodate more than the maximum registered guests, and a list is above. Special terms and conditions do apply, so see each villa's web page for all details. As for villas not on the list, some owners may permit weddings at which guests do not exceed headcount; please permit us to check for you before you make your plans!
Plan for success. We highly recommend seeking out a wedding planner to help you create your event here in the islands. The best reason is: it's what they do! These licensed professionals can ensure that you have the most current government documentation, secure a presiding officiant, find the best site or scope your villa's layout for a picture-perfect tableau.
